Article Writing – 3 Creative Secrets to Impact Your Article Writing

There are countless of writers who produce so many articles but are still not getting even a fraction of the results that they were hoping for simply because their articles are not really impacting. If you are a writer, you surely don’t want this to happen as this will mean waste of your time and energy. To avoid this, improve the quality of your articles to start getting the kind of results that you are looking for. Here’s what you need to do:

1. Know your audience. As a writer, you need to know your readers inside out so you can easily figure out the best way to help them. Get to know and understand their needs, their profiles, and their problems. When you know all these things, you will not have a problem identifying the information to include on your copies and you can be assured that they will be appreciated by your readers.

2. Offer useful information.

Based on research, people are going online because they need help. They are either looking for solutions to their problems or they want to be able to do great things on their own so they will not need to hire and pay professionals. Give these people the exact information that they need. This will not only allow you to leave these people completely satisfied but this will also the key to win their trust and confidence.

3. Aside from informing your readers, you also need to give them great reading experience. You can do this by simply making your articles interesting and engaging. As much as possible, use conversational tone to put these people at ease. Use terms that they are very familiar with and make your articles extremely scannable.

Are Your Kids Disengaged?

Are you fostering a disengagement in your children? In our stressed lives, it takes little effort to give in to the “wants” versus “needs” of our children. Have you noticed everyone seems to be plugged into something whether that be a cell phone to their ear or a gaming device in their hands, or spend their free time watching movies?

Those same kids who scream for the latest video gaming system or hand-held device are feeding an inner beast that is demanding to be fed. Everything is faster, brighter and seems to process our brains in a need-more kind of way. It doesn’t give your brain a chance to slow down, truly process and problem solve in a growing manner. We are building a generation of people who consider a conversation with a stranger a foreign concept and something to be abhord. Can you teen sit and talk to you during dinner or do they have to have their cell phone at the ready?

We give into the demands of our children by giving that cell phone earlier and earlier, stating “it’s for safety and so that I can get ahold of them.” But, truly, it goes back to that “need” versus “wants” element.

If you have a steady diet of stimulation that is electronic-based and cursatory instead of a balance of interaction, physical activity, quiet time, and creative stimulation you are feeding disengagement.

Fill your mind with creativity and it wants more creativity. Fill it with mind-numbing electronics and it wants more. It’s that simple.

An option that many families do not even think of is to simply cut down on the number of electronics in the household. If every member of the family has their own everything, than no one learns to share, or has to interact with anyone else in the home, this can limit the social health of the family as a group, as well as the social health and skills of the individual members of the family.

A cell phone is a “want”, it’s not a “need”.

Don’t be a parent watching their child graduate from high school who has no direction in life because it’s easier for them to disengage and sit on the sofa then go get a job. Their comfort zone it’s out in the real world, it’s somewhere lost in “electronic’s land”. Or, you could find yourself shaking your head and wondering what happened to that kid and how did they become so lost and alone. You gave them everything they wanted.

Backpack Safety For Kids

In the US, more than 40 million students carry backpacks. About 20 million carry in those packs more than the recommended weight. This backpack “overload” sent over 3,000 children, ages 5-14, to hospital emergency rooms in 2007 for injuries related to backpacks.

These numbers are expected to rise year after year. Children and teens continue to rely on backpacks to carry books, binders, notepads, homework and personal belongings.

Children and Back Pain
Each year I see more and more children complaining of headaches, neck, back and shoulder pain. Studies have shown a direct connection between these complaints and overloaded and ill-fitted backpacks. The body has to compensate for the change in its center of gravity caused by the backpack’s added weight. The spine in particular is affected as it twists and bends to reposition.

Scoliosis
Even thought there is debate over the causes of Scoliosis, one common agreement is that it can be caused from consistently overloading a spine, especially if it is overloaded in an uneven pattern, which commonly happens with children wearing backpacks.

Once Scoliosis occurs in a child it can be very difficult to deal with and correct.

The smartest way to handle Scoliosis is to prevent it. Do no carry too much weight for long periods of time or any uneven weight and have regular spinal checkups by your family Chiropractor to ensure proper spinal function. This is especially important for developing children because as the spine grows it can be easily manipulated in the wrong directions, backpacks, poor posture and certain lifestyle habits can distort the spine.

Rucksack Palsy
Another problem associated with backpack overload is a condition called “Rucksack Palsy.” A heavy backpack causes the shoulder straps to compress delicate nerves, arteries and veins that pass underneath.

This can lead to numbness and tingling in the arms.

Help Is on the Way
The American Chiropractic Association has developed a Backpack Safety Program for children in an effort to raise the awareness to the health dangers overloaded backpacks can present to children.

Protecting your child’s spine is extremely important, especially during adolescence. I feel strongly about backpack safety and volunteer to go into schools and individually teach the students and teachers about the health effects of over weighted and ill-fitted backpacks.

Healthy Foods For Kids – Train Your Kids to Eat Healthy

Training your kids to eat healthy is indeed a challenge for most parents, as they are often influenced by TV commercials about fast foods and other influences that may become more appealing to them.

Putting more vegetables and fruits in their diet will truly make a difference in their growth and in their eating habits. Training them to eat healthy at an early age will also lead them to lesser health problems in their adulthood.

If you want to start with healthy foods for kids, you can select vegetables and add them into their everyday diet. You can also serve them in variety of ways to make them appealing. Fruits and vegetables add a variety of colors and textures to recipes and meals, so you may want to take advantage of that too.

Starting out with the healthy foods for kids, vegetables and fruits, chicken without the skin, wheaties and whole grain, skim milk, frozen yogurt or non-fat ice cream are some healthy foods that you can serve your kids.

You can also make your own recipes and make sure you include the healthy ingredients on it.

Breakfast is important not only for adults but for children as well. You can serve them breakfast that is high in fiber, and most likely, you will get this from vegetables as well as in whole grain bread. Cereals and low-fat cheese and skim milk are also good choices for breakfast. You can also give them the fresh fruit rather than canned fruit juices to get the most nutrients out of it and less the artificial coloring.

A healthy sandwich for lunch is also good for the kids. You can use whole grain bread or whole grain crackers. For your tuna salad, you can also cut and mix vegetables like carrot, celery and green peppers. You can also use fat-free mayonnaise together with chunks of chicken and don’t forget to add the carrots, raisins or almonds for your chicken salad. Peanut butter and jelly are also good choices for sandwiches, or you can serve them with your celery sticks. You can always make healthier sandwiches by adding more vegetables in it and serve it with fresh fruit.

At times, you may need a lot of patience to make your kids love vegetables, so make sure also that you are letting them see that you are also eating them. You can also put a bowl of veggies and fruits like grapes or carrot and celery sticks nearby when they are playing so they will be more exposed to these kinds of food.

Organic fruits and vegetables are also healthier choices for your kids. Aside from being free from pesticides, they also have higher nutrient contents and antioxidants. Keep in mind too that if you want healthy foods for kids, refrain from bringing them to fast foods, of course this part may be quite difficult with all the colorful TV ads, but there is always a way to explain. You can also be creative. If they just love those chicken nuggets at the fast food, you can make your own at home less the fat and too much salt. You can grill chicken breast, cut it into smaller bite sizes and make a healthy dipping sauce.

You can actually make your own healthy foods for kids at home like making a healthier pizza and getting those carrot and celery sticks instead of those salty French fries.

Morbidly Obese Women-a Special Health Threat

For morbidly obese women, all of the usual dangers of obesity apply. The risk of many diseases like heart disease and diabetes is elevated. Joint problems are another common side effect of obesity, too. But there’s one health problem that affects morbidly obese women in high numbers.

PCOS or Polycystic Ovary Syndrome is a condition only women can suffer from because it involves the reproductive organs. It can cause problems in heavy teenagers as well as adult morbidly obese women.

Not every obese female will suffer from PCOS, but the numbers and percentages are high. This is because PCOS usually occurs before diabetes occurs. It’s often considered a precursor to diabetes, because it’s believed to be caused by insulin resistance, the same thing that causes Type II diabetes.

Insulin resistance occurs in morbidly obese women and men and can lead to diabetes in both sexes. But for women it can also lead to Polycystic Ovary Syndrome.

When a person is overweight, her body stops being efficient at removing glucose from the bloodstream. It’s not just body fat that contributes to this though. It’s much more about what a person eats than what a person weights.

A diet rich in foods that are absorbed quickly into the blood stream causes larger amounts of insulin to be released into the bloodstream to help remove the glucose. Simple carbs that cause this rapid insulin response include foods that contain flour and sugar. These foods cause a rapid rise in blood sugar and then insulin levels.

After needing to produce extra amounts of insulin for a prolonged time, the body can no longer keep up. It can’t produce enough insulin to efficiently remove the blood glucose. When this starts to occur, it’s known as insulin resistance. This is the stage when PCOS will typically develop in morbidly obese women.

It can also occur in women of a healthy weight, if their diets are rich in simple carbs and foods that cause a fast insulin response.

The insulin resistance will usually lead to diabetes, but the PCOS in the meantime causes other problems. The syndrome causes elevated levels of testosterone in the blood stream. This can lead to problems with fertility including an inability to get pregnant.

Because the hormone levels are off, very often a morbidly obese woman with PCOS will skip periods, have shorter periods, or stop having them altogether. This can occur in teens to and those who don’t have a weight problem. But it is more common among people who carry extra weight.

Acne can flare up as result of PCOS and the elevated testosterone. Hair loss can occur, much as it does in a man with male pattern baldness. And hair growth is often stimulated because of the male hormone that causes hair growth in men.

PCOS is a sign that a person has a problem with insulin resistance and is at high risk of developing diabetes. Fortunately for morbidly obese women and anyone with the condition, the switch to a proper diet can alleviate the symptoms.

Temporary Health Insurance Guide

Temporary health insurance is a great option for many people that are looking for some short-term cover. You might be in between jobs, or you might be waiting for your group insurance to kick in. Either way it is very important that you are covered, and temporary health insurance is a great option for you.

You should always be covered, as there are going to be things in your life that will occur that you did not expect. If you are in between coverage plans, then it is necessary that you look into getting a sort term health insurance plan, to make sure that you and your family are covered for any unexpected things that could happen.

You need to know that usually it is quite cheap and comes at a low premium, which means that often pre existing conditions aren’t covered. This can be a pain, and you need to really check through the policies before you go into it.

Usually you need to be below the age of sixty-five, and not be covered by any other policy at all. You are covered then for all the normal things, like medical checkups, and any sicknesses and injuries that might occur.

You need to be aware that each health insurance company will have their own policy that you will need to comply too. You need to check thoroughly that you comply with this policy, as it could have drastic implication down the line, and you may not be covered for things that you specifically need.

Family Health Insurance Explained

Family health cover is a medical care scheme which provides a chosen standard of personal medical treatment for the full family or particular members of a family. It is the preferred choice of healthcare provision for families who do not want to trust their health and well being to the confines of the NHS.

Why Take Out Family Health Cover?

The reasons for taking out family medical cover are many and varied but the key ones are alike, if not identical to the reasons why individuals take out personal medical cover.

Is Family Health Insurance Affordable?

As a number of members are being insured as a group, through a single plan, administration and actuarial expenses are lower than if personal plans were to be written for every family member. Therefore, family medical plans can be an exceptionally cost-effective way of protecting the entire family.

It very often isn’t much more expensive to cover an entire family than to insure the two parents.

Plans can start from as little as .00 per week for a family of four.

In lots of instances, family medical insurance isn’t much more expensive than personal medical cover. It remains a relatively reasonably priced way of ensuring that your loved ones can be sure of fast, superior quality care should ill-health or injury strike.

The standard of cover necessary, along with the age, gender, health and occupations of family members, are determining factors in the premiums and scope of cover that a family medical insurance scheme might provide.

Like personal medical insurance, policies can be standard, fixed, restricted or specifically designed to be as broad as your needs dictate.

When medical cover is taken out between you and your partner, children are very often provided for free of charge up until they reach the age of 18.

How To Choose The Right Coverage For Your Family

As with all kinds of medical plans, it makes sense to shop around for the most appropriate scheme at the most competitive cost.

Some providers specialize in family medical cover and many can be found online. Researching the costs and options is therefore quick and straightforward.

Understanding Health Insurance

All he does is think about the skyrocketing cost of travel health insurance all day. Because of this, the heart of this 72 year old retired physician sinks.

An enjoyable retirement may not be the case for you even though you have earned it especially if you have a fixed income. When he retired from the civil service six years back, this physician then spent winter in Barbados with his wife. When it comes to the changes in health insurance for the so called snowbirds or retired Canadians who spend winters in warmer climates, he is just as upset as many seniors.

The decisions made by may credit card companies to restrict benefits for card members not to mention the changes in Ontario’s health insurance program have put a squeeze on national travel health insurers. Dramatic changes have been seen with the rates especially in a six month coverage for a couple over 60 costing as much as ,590 or more with a ,000 deductible. In this case, seniors in Manitoba responded by forming a travel health insurance committee and Ontario’s changes have driven health insurance costs through the roof according to their chairman.

What was mentioned by the manager of the individual health sales at a Manitoba insurance company was that the change led to the loss of a policy that topped up such credit card coverage which was a popular product. Across Canada many years ago, shockwaves were sent through the health insurance business because of the changes in Ontario which were similar to changes in Manitoba according to her. When it comes to the restrictions by the Manitoba Health Services Commission, no government coverage will be received by people who have been out of the province for more than six months and this affects coverage from private insurers.

He should be able to spend the winter away considering how he lived here for more than 40 years. Calling airlines for departure and arrival dates, even if this seems rather excessive, he said that the Manitoba Health Services Commission really clamped down. With regard to the doctor who has had hip replacement surgery, travel to a warmer climate carries a greater significance considering how no snow means better mobility.

Considering this, he insists that he does not want a free ride. Here, he pays federal, provincial, and municipal taxes, he lives here during the summer, and the better part of his career has been spent in Manitoba.

Keep in mind that you should carry health insurance coverage whenever you travel because even if a broken ankle appears to be a simple thing it can cost you ,000. It should be clear what treatments are excluded from coverage and what benefits are included in this case.

The total medical expenses including the cost of private insurance in this case may exceed three per cent of net income or ,570 whichever is less and so the balance is eligible to be claimed on income tax as a medical expense. You should take note of the distinction between insurance with a deductible and co-insurance in this case.

Taking most co-insurance plans into consideration, 80 percent of the total claim is covered by the insurer while 20 percent of the total claim is shouldered by the client. Taking the Manitoba Health Services Commission into consideration, they pay for the cost of procedures in the amount that would be charged if they were done in Manitoba and the traveler picks up the difference if Manitobans undergo treatment abroad.
